Woodstocks International Ltd has been trading for over eleven years and has established a firm position in the garden furniture market place. Manufacturing, designing and supplying quality Teak products at very reasonable prices. Formed by two qualified shipwrights, who have had over sixteen years experience of building traditional wooden boats. This valuable knowledge of craftsmanship is now used to oversee the manufacturing of first class quality garden furniture. For a number of years we have consistently been one of the largest importers of Teak furniture, supplying the trade and public in the UK and across Europe.

We are using our extensive knowledge of manufacturing and our passion for design to shape the future of modern outdoor living. We have many different design projects in operation and our in house Artie woven furniture design team have worked closely on special orders with other designers, such as Pinnin Firinni.

Artie garden furniture can currently be found aboard the latest Sunseeker motoryacht ranges, Hyatt and Sol Melia hotel groups and “The One and Only” holiday resorts.

Our Products

All of our furniture is produced from the highest quality selected grade A+ teak (Tectona Grandis), with 316 marine grade  stainless steel fittings to guarantee a long maintenance-free life. Teak is renowned throughout the world for its durability and immunity to the elements and rotting due to its unique oil and rubber content. The Teak wood selected comes from sustained plantations on the island of Java, Indonesia. Woodstocks International Ltd works in harmony with Perum Perhutani, the Indonesian government forestry department, to ensure the conservation of the 400 year old plantation and its surrounding environment.

Our grade A+ Teak is seasoned and kiln dried, resulting in superior quality timber with no knots, sapwood or blackwood. The logs are “Quarter sawn” which means short grain showing, which greatly reduces the chance of splitting and warping. This process of log planking has been traditionally used in boatbuilding for centuries to give longevity. This method of planking is not known to most furniture manufacturers which is why Woodstocks International Ltd furniture is second to none worldwide.

The whole process is controlled from felling, milling and sorting. It is then precision machined to a  minimum tolerance and finally hand finished with 800 grit sandpaper, which gives our furniture a glass like finish, extremely smooth to the touch even when aged and silvery grey. This finishing process enhances the impervious qualities of the wood.
